Class Objectives /Class Outline |
This course introduces two research trends on human life in rural society. One is the research of “life (social life, biological life and ecosystem)” and “circulation”, the other is that of “technology (scientific technology and political economic systems)” and “development”.
The goals of this course are to (1) Obtain basic knowledge about the major research trends and concepts. (2) Understand history and specific features of Japanese rural society. (3) Understand social problems and new practices in modern rural society. (4) Be able to explain the meanings and problems of human life in rural society. |
