Class Status within Liberal Arts Education | This course is an introductory Korean language class. It is designed for students who have no prior experience learning Korean, with the goal of acquiring basic reading, writing, and simple conversation skills. Additionally, to build basic knowledge of Korean society, materials such as Korean dramas, movies, and K-Pop videos will also be used in the course. |

Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Building on Basic Korean Proficiency to Develop Applied Skills.
1. Understand Korean society and culture through Korean films and compare them with Japan. 2. Learn the usage of present, past, and future attributive forms and be able to use related expressions fluently. 3. Memorize the two forms of possibility expressions, understand their differences, and apply them appropriately. 4. Based on points 2 and 3, be able to construct more complex sentences for speaking and writing.
