Class Objectives
/Class Outline
With the globalization of industry, the need for internationally acceptable English language skills is increasing. Technical English is no different from general English in terms of grammar and syntax, but it is necessary to understand specialized terminology appropriate to the industrial scene and situation. The purpose of this seminar is to acquire industrial English vocabulary appropriate to the situations of engineering materials, manufacturing, research and development, sales, etc., and to cultivate the ability to read and express English logically. It also develops communication skills in English and the ability to learn independently.

Suggestions on
Preparation and
Review
This class is centered on self-study, and exercises to check the results are given every hour. The scope of questions will be specified in advance, so be sure to prepare for that part. It is necessary to prepare appropriately according to each person's level. There are some situations where rote memorization is necessary as the first step, but simply memorizing will not work and long-term learning results cannot be expected. Each person needs to supplement their grammar study according to the learning point as necessary, and create a network of knowledge regarding English pronunciation, spelling, logically understood sentence meaning, and grammatical structure. Every year, there are people who tend to fall into the trap of rote memorization, so we ask each person to be aware of their own situation and approach the class. Sample answers will be provided after the exercise. Review the parts you made mistakes in order to acquire the ability to accurately interpret, read, and write technical English.
