Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This lecture introduces the characteristics of Japan's regions and cities, as well as regional industrial structures, and the basic theory and analytical methods of regional economics. Using economic tools, we are going to analyze regional industrial structures, land use patterns, housing market, traffic congestion, and other related issues. This lecture aims to help students conduct economic and academic analysis independently and propose solutions to various urban and regional problems.
