Class Status within Educational Program (Applicable only to targeted subjects for undergraduate students) | This is a mandatory two-credit course required for all students. With increasing diversity in students' educational backgrounds before university, their learning styles and attitudes have also become more varied. Some students have become accustomed to passive learning and struggle to adapt to the more self-directed approach expected in university. Additionally, at the beginning of their university life, students often have relatively few opportunities to experience the excitement and joy of academic learning firsthand. In response to these challenges, the Liberal Arts Seminar aims to actively engage first-year students in learning activities, fostering their intellectual curiosity. At the same time, it facilitates communication between students and faculty, as well as among students themselves, contributing to the formation of a strong academic community. |
