As students' learning has become more diverse through high school, the temperament of incoming students has also become more diverse. Some students are accustomed to passive learning and have difficulty adjusting to university study, which emphasizes independence. It is also possible that students have relatively few opportunities to experience and understand the joy and interest of academics when they first enter the university.
In view of these students' circumstances, this Seminar provides opportunities to foster intellectual interest by actively involving new students in learning activities, as well as to promote communication between students, teachers, and each other, and to help form learning groups.
