Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This course aims to provide students with the basic skills, knowledge, and dispositions necessary for a university education through the reading of literature in the social sciences (especially sociology). The course will focus on literature written by sociologists in consideration of the faculty member's specialty, but it will also be an opportunity for students who wish to study law or political science to acquire knowledge about the realities of contemporary society and useful perspectives in social analysis.

Read the relevant sections of the textbook in advance of the session for which you are in charge of reporting, as well as for other sessions.
After class, students should organize their knowledge from the literature and their analytical perspective on society based on their reports and discussions.
