This is a core course offered in the third grade, and aims to acquire theories and methods related to childcare in the human life content area. In addition, students will acquire skills related to teaching methods for "Hands-on Experience with Young Children," which is now required in junior high school home economics courses.

To understand various aspects of children's development in infancy and to learn the nature of the environment that supports children's growth.
We learn how to watch children and how to arrange the environment in which children spend their time from the perspective of Early Childhood Education and Care studies.

Preparation: Think back to your own childhood and memories of ECEC facilities.
Review: Think about the meaning of studying ECEC studies in your own way.

Lesson 2-6
Review: Review the contents of the class and organize the key points by each student.

Lesson7
Preparation: Recall and organize the games you played as a child.
Review: Consider the significance of play for children.

Lesson8
Preparation: Read over the picture books you liked as a child.
Review: Consider how to read picture books to children according to their age and situation.

Lesson 9-12
Review: Review the contents of the class and organize the key points by each student.

Lesson 13:
Preparation Research what kind of interaction experiences are available with infants and toddlers.
Review: Think about the significance of the experience of interacting with infants and toddlers.

Lesson 14:
Preparation: Plan the experience of interacting with infants and toddlers.
Review: Review your own proposal based on other students' proposals

Lesson15
Preparation for the 15th lesson: Summarize the meaning of studying childcare studies again based on the contents of the lessons up to the 14th lesson.
Review: Write a report.

In addition, instructions may be given in class regarding preparation and review.
