While Research in Humanities had depended on paper media since long time ago, it has been gradually changing due to emergence of digital media. This class will focus on the characteristics of what will be changed, will not be changed, and should not be changed, discussing the current situation of digital humanities in Japan and foreign countries. Students will learn the basics of digital humanities and some skills for digital scholarship in the humanities.
