Class Objectives /Class Outline |
The purpose of this course is to learn basic knowledge concerning human history with West Asian archaeology. This course explores the formation and development of ancient civilizations in Near and Middle Eastern Asia (primarily Mesopotamia, Iran, Anatolia, and the Levant) from an archaeological perspective. It introduces excavations and the latest research while analyzing aspects such as social structures, religion, etc. |
