The course of Academic Reading is designed to develop academic reading skills. Academic reading is an active process of interacting with the text, making connections between the text and your current knowledge, and asking critical questions about the content. Students will use textbooks and supplementary materials such as research papers to read using key reading strategies, which will develop their academic reading skills.
