Ocean covers 70% of earth’s surface. It simply means that ocean is the most normal place on this planet. Some of us now attempts to intervene into marine ecosystem to solve or relieve problems such as climate change and resource limitation. In this class, I expect you to understand the characteristics of marine environment, the availability of marine potential for people, and possible impacts from the development activity.
