This course is aimed at providing an overview of linguistic theories and its topics by introducing several linguistic approaches. Reading comprehension of selected linguistic papers is also practiced.

Grading Method In Kawakami's classe, grades will be evaluated based on reports (50%), reading comprehension presentations, and class participation (50%). In Oshima's classe, grades will be determined based on reports (50%) and class participation (50%).
