Class Objectives 1) Understand and perform the common statistical analyses used in psychology 2) Learn to describe data to another person 3) Learn to think in a statistical and/or empirical mindset
Class Outline In this course, you will learn about how psychologists (and indeed most social scientists) measure the intangible, i.e., thoughts, feelings and opinions. You will be shown examples of how people apply these techniques, both rightly and wrongly, and be taught how to apply these statistical analyses for yourself. |
