Students will understand the function of education in museums and also develop competences to become museum educator, through lecture, practice and discussion, which treat history of museum education, characteristics of learning in museums, actual situation of educational activities in museums, cooperation of museum and school.

In this lecture, students will be required to prepare for the theme of each class and to review the class using documents teacher presented.
If you have some questions, please ask teacher at the class. 
Requirements This class is included in curator qualification program (students who enrolled in Heisei 24 academic year and after). In order to fill 3 units of "museum educational theory", it is necessary to learn "Educational thought and principle" (2 units), offered in department of education, 2Year First Semester. 
Grading Method Evaluation is decided by the results of following: tasks in class, attitude in class, final report.
