Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Management resources of the museum, “person” (museum staff), “material “(museum materials, museum facilities and equipment), “money” (funding), and “information” etc. Linkage and balance of each other is holding the success or failure of the museum management along with the operation and management of the individual elements. First, I will introduce the history of management theory, which is the basis of the museum management theory, an overview of the main theories of management theory. Then, in relation to “the person” and “money” of the major management resources, I will discuss organizational theory and Museum of the administrative and financial of the museum. In particular, with respect to financial, I commentary while utilizing a specific example for the National Museum and Public Museum and the private museum. In addition, I want to discuss, such as preferential treatment of subsidies and tax. Finally, I will commentary public relations, marketing, crisis management for museums. |
