Class Objectives
/Class Outline
In this lecture, the technologies necessary for realizing environmentally green development in developing countries are divided into five fields: Urban and traffic engineering, energy technology, health, biological production technology, and risk management technology. First, we outline the basic theories and techniques in each field, and then introduce examples of applications of those theories and techniques. Next, through group work, students will take up specific issues related to environmentally green development in developing countries, propose solutions, and learn how to apply the theories and techniques they have learned. Through these activities, from a cross-disciplinary perspective, students will develop specialized abilities to think logically about how various development technologies can contribute to environmentally green development.
