Challenge of combustion technology is increasing rapidly due to the problems of energy depletion and climate change.  Innovative technologies of combustion are desired for solving the issues.  The lecture provides fundamental knowledge on the chemical kinetics and combustion phenomenology as well as the state-of-the-art numerical modeling and laser diagnostics.
