Class Objectives
/Class Outline
To acquire specialized knowledge and analytical methods necessary for conducting research in the field of educational science, and to provide research guidance for the preparation of doctoral dissertations. Necessary for conducting research, such as setting specific research subjects, organizing study subjects, reviewing existing research, survey and experiment methods, data processing and analysis methods, writing papers, and acquiring presentation methods (including research ethics). Guidance is provided to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
Through this course, students should be able to do the following at a level appropriate for a doctoral dissertation.
(1) To be able to formulate one's own questions based on the background of the subject field.
(2) Consider and implement research methods appropriate for solving the question.
(3) To be able to analyze and discuss the data obtained from the survey in a way appropriate for solving the question.
(4) Communicate the obtained information to others with appropriate arguments.
(5) To be able to consider what the remaining issues are.
(6) Practice the above in a socially ethical manner and with consideration for those involved in the research.
