/Class Outline 【Outline of the course】
Intellectual Property Act is general term that includes Patent Act, Utility Model Act, Design Act, Trademark Act, Copyright Act, and Unfair Competition Prevention Act. Intellectual Property Act is a legal measure which protect information (intellectual property). In this course, we will consider and analyze following items: features of intellectual property, system of Intellectual Property Law, purposes of Copyright Act, copyrighted works, author, work for hire, limitations on copyright, moral rights, neighboring rights, and copyright infringement including contributory infringement.
【Aims】
Along with obtaining basic knowledge of Copyright Act, students will understand and explain points of it by using example cases.
