【Outline of the course】 Students will learn legal systems concerning consumer damages in consumer transactions and also consider how to claim in a practical way. In particular, we will consider remedies based on understanding of provisions of Civil Code, contract, illegal acts, and consumer protection. 【Aims】 Based on example cases concerning consumer issues, students will consider remedies from the stand point of victims. Students also will develop skills to discuss verbally or non-verbally. With hope to develop these skills, students also learn how to think by themselves. |
