In Action Research Seminar II, students will make plans. Based on theories and concepts, students will establish research plans and deliver presentations, thinking back on what they learned in Action Research Seminar Practicum I and II, as well as preceding research they read in Action Research Seminar I. Then, in cooperation with coworkers and managers of the schools which they work for, students will prepare to make specific plans which will be conducted a year later, including research on schools.

The instructor will give an advice on what a desirable teacher is like in the situation of today’s education reform. Based on the advice, students should identify their own challenge and make an effort to overcome the issues.
