/Class Outline
Based on the situation of schools that students work for, students will consider and deepen their understanding of the concepts of cooperation between schools and local communities, as well as the formation of networks of human resources and material resources. The theme of this course is to acquire knowledge of Community Education Management, which provides views of school education in a lifelong learning society and knowledge-based society。
This course includes a hands-on seminar about network formation of human and material resources, with views of cooperation between schools and local communities. Also, with the aim of deepening understanding of the roles of schools in lifelong learning, students will discuss theoretical bases of lifelong learning and social education as well as collaboration between schools and the community.

Careful reading of handouts and scrutiny through reference documents.
A question sheet will be utilized in every lesson to show concerned issues and important points to be reviewed.
The instructor will give an advice on what a desirable teacher is like in the situation of today’s education reform. Based on the advice, students should identify their own challenge and make an effort to overcome the issues. 
Requirements Inabsence of class due to conducting Action Research will be admitted less than 5 times out of 15 lessons. 
Grading Method Students will be evaluated based on feedback sheets, class participation, and quizzes.
