-understand the theory and concepts of local curriculum development.
-appreciate the benefits of local curriculum.
-point out the challenges and limitations of local curriculum development.
-describe and analyze the advantages and disadvantages from case studies of local curriculum development in many countries.
-make a local curriculum development proposal

Students are expected to read the articles beforehand.
For the final presentation, students needs to search problems in the local area concerned, and making proposal during the term and prepare the presentation.
Students should rewrite and submit their Local curriculum development proposal based on the discussion. 
Requirements We will have a field trip on July 19 to eco park in Saijo. If you cannot join it, I will provide some task for you to recogenise the atendance. 
Grading Method Active attitude in the class 50%
