The purpose of this course is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the current trends and issues surrounding international education development, as well as to explore a variety of approaches through case studies of development partners. The course aims to help students identify potential research areas and relevant research questions.

Review
It is expected that students will read the literature assigned before each class, which will be available online and identify questions or uncertainties. Additionally, students will be expected to deliver a brief presentation on each topic covered in class and actively engage in discussions related to the topic. 
Requirements  
Grading Method The evaluation will be based on your contributions during class discussions and activities (30%) and the final presentation and report (70%). 
Practical Experience Experienced  
Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it The lecturer has around 15 years of practical experience in international educational cooperation at Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and will deliver classes based on the experience. 
Message I expect the participation of students who are actively involved in discussing issues of educational development.
