Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This class explores the topic of university education from students' perspectives. Specifically, we consider two primay perspectives: students' learning behavior while in school and their careers after graduation. To this end, the class will cover books and articles dealing mainly with surveys of students and graduates, and reflectively examine Japanese university education, including international comparisons and the actual state of educational reform.
