/Class Outline The aim of this course is to learn about the current state of research on special topics in the history of Japanese education and to acquire the basic knowledge and ability to research specific educational issues from a historical perspective.

4. Criticism of teachers' attitudes to study and research
5. Organisation of teachers in the region
6. Pedagogical qualities required of regular teachers in teacher certification
