Class Objectives
/Class Outline
In this course, students will understand the goals and abilities of technical and industrial education, which are the basis of technology education in junior high school and industry education in high school. Students will moreover take the current issues in technical and industrial education and will cultivate basic skills of developing learning materials for solving the issues. Students will cultivate the advanced ability to guide learners in research activities in technical and industrial education based on highly specialized skills.

Focusing on contents studies on technology and industry, students will discuss (1) the elements of the learning contents, (2) the three components of the qualities and abilities of technology education, (3) the three viewpoints of industry education, and (4) the development of learning materials for interactive learning.
