Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Acquire specialized content on the relationship between conception, design, production, and the environment and society, which is the basis of instruction in manufacturing education. In addition, they will logically recognize the current situation in manufacturing instruction and develop viewpoints for designing learning materials aimed at solving environmental and social issues. Specifically, we focus on the contents of learning about "junior high school technology and home economics" or "high school Engineering". Discussions on "1. Characteristics of manufacturing education", "2. Specialized contents on the relationship between materials, structures, functions and environment, society", "3. Design of learning materials for manufacturing that incorporates environmental and social aspects", and make learning materials.

Lesson 2: Summarize your understanding and thoughts about the significance and necessity of manufacturing education.
Lesson 3: Examining the impact of wood on the environment and society.
Lesson 4: Examining the impact of metals on the environment and society.
Lesson 5: Examining the impact of plastics on the environment and society.
Lesson 6: Examine the types of materials developed in recent years and their impact on the environment and society.
Lesson 7: Examining the relationship between product structure and the environment and society.
Lesson 8: Examining the relationship between product processing methods and the environment and society.
Lesson 9: Examining the relationship between product concepts and the environment and society.

Grading Method Students will be comprehensively assessed by reports(40%), presentation(30%), discussion(15%) and behavior in class (15%).
