Class Objectives
/Class Outline
By understanding the educational goals of science and the qualities and abilities required of science teachers from multiple perspectives, and linking the learning content of science with the logic of natural science as the background, the specialization in science education and the natural sciences (physics, Acquire complementary skills in chemistry, biology, and geology. In addition, we will work on the development of learning materials and the design of learning activities assuming concrete lesson situations, and improve the knowledge and skills for effective learning material design. Through these, we aim to develop the ability to continuously address the issues of science education. Participants set research subjects related to the learning contents and learning activities in secondary science education, and work on solving the issues through research activities such as surveys of prior research and experiments, observations, and fieldwork. In addition, students will acquire the skills to develop the results into conference presentations and academic papers. In particular, guidance will be given mainly on the development of learning materials and learning programs for observation experiments on plants and microorganisms.
