Human resource development (HRD) is one of the crucially important issues, regardless of the size and ownership structure of the organizations as well as the development stages of the economies where they operate. After introducing its foundations, HRD is discussed both at the individual and organizational levels. Moreover, the course covers the major areas of human resource management so that the students can understand the role of HRD in the broader scope.
