The purpose of this course is to provide students with an understanding of theories related to communication systems within the corporate workplace.
Communication is the transfer of content between the sender and receiver of a message using various means (channels). In the workplace, employees communicate and coordinate their opinions to facilitate business activities, but if communication is not effective, discrepancies and misunderstandings can occur. Therefore, this lecture focuses on communication in the workplace and examines its mechanisms and differences from those in other countries.
The objectives to be attained through this lecture are as follows: ・Overview of communication in an organization and its theory
To be able to explain the outline and theory of intra-organizational communication with examples from Japanese companies.
To be able to explain the relationship between the communication style of Japanese people and the recipient society, using examples.
