Due to Hiroshima University's policy, some in-person classes are required. Thus, at least quizzes have to be given in-person class in Higashi-senda campus, located in Hiroshima City, about 40Km away from the main-campus in Higashi-Hirosima City. Thus, it may be difficult for those who will not be able to commute to Higashi-senda campus to register this course, if they need credits. The contents and academic standards in this course accord with the mission statement of Hiroshima University aiming to be a globally recognized research university in Times Higher Education's World University Rankings. Therefore, the lingua franca in this course is English. However, if Japanese students register, some usage of Japanese is also allowed in this course. |
