We study the international relation and cooperation in various social phenomena and problems, such as international trade, conflict, institution and environment, based on the framework of game theory. The aim is to acquire the skills and ideas to analyse the realistic socioeconomic problems from the perspective of economics, as well as to understand how these problems can be incorporated to economic models.

The tentative schedule is as below, although the contents and order may be changed depending on the research interest of the participants. The style of the class may be changed depending on the number of participants and COVID-19 conditions.

The presenter must read the assigned part carefully and be fully prepared. Derive the solutions of the model by yourself and be ready to show the calculation processes whenever asked to show them. The students not assigned to make presentations also must read the book prior to the class.
 
Requirements None 
Grading Method Presentation and/or report (80%), participation (20%). Report may be assigned if many students participate and the per-person opportunity for presentation is not sufficient.
