We aim to learn empirical analysis and develop the ability to create research plans. Specifically, I plan to conduct a collaborative reading of the Annual Report on the Japanese Economy and Public Finance (White Paper), which is usually released around October each year by the Cabinet Office, Japan. After students make presentations, we intend to create a new research plan by themselves.

Preparation and
Review
The course is mainly conducted by student presentations, so it is crucial to thoroughly prepare for presentations. Additionally, if there are questions during the formulation of research plans, it is important to contact the lecturer for clarification. 
Requirements None 
Grading Method The assessment will be based on presentations (50%) and reports (50%). As part of the report assignment, students are required to submit the research plan that they have created, discussed, and revised during the course. 
Practical Experience Experienced  
Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it I engaged in research activities for three years at the Ministry of Finance, where I led the planning and guidance of research for many Ministry of Finance staff, from conceptualization to paper writing.
