●Class goals
Psychological support in the field of school education has been provided in Japan by "school counselor" who is mainly clinical psychologist. School counselor provides a variety of support such as counseling for children and parents and support for teachers in the organization of school and the community including schools. This course aims to acquire basic school counseling knowledge, theory, and techniques required of Kouninshinrishi regarding psychological support for problems in the school education area.
●Summary of class
First, we outline the history of clinical psychology in the field of school education in Japan and the uniqueness and expertise of school counseling. Next, we will give lectures on basic knowledge and theory about methods of support for children and parents, and methods for support for teachers in teaching and supporting children.

In school counseling, even in the psychological support provided by Kouninshinrishi and Clinical psychologist, especially applied knowledge and skills are required, so it is not possible to learn in this class alone. Therefore, we would like you to read the literature and case reports related to school counseling for yourself as a preparatory study and review and actively inflate the image.
