Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Indo-European studies, serving as a model for comparative or historical linguistics, have developed the methodology since the establishment in the 19 century. Understanding the history of research plays a critical role in the proper learning of the methodology. This seminar focuses on Indo-European morphology, and also aims to deepen stundents' understanding of Indo-European morphlolgy and syntax through analyzing Homer's epic, one of the most important texts in Indo-European studies.
