The aim of this seminar is to conduct practical exercises to have research activities with expertise and originality concerning the research theme selected in relation to life science. Especially, this seminar focuses on flexible introduction or development of different field research with emphasis on expertise, without regard to existing research methods. Specifically, Students will acquire the abilities to collect informations, create and modify research plan, utilize scientific instruments, analyze data and communicate and present with different field researchers, which are necessary for research activities. |

1: Guidance 2: Practical use of scientific instruments: extended use and requirement 3: practical use of scientific instruments: Combination with other instruments 4: Research plan 1: correction of motivation and confirmation of validity 5: Research plan 2: improvement of experimental system and overcoming problems 6: Research plan 3: verification of experimental system and assumption of expected results 7: Information collection: survey of related research trends and introduction to the theme 8: Data analysis 1: verification of validity of analysis results 9: Data analysis 2: scientific understanding of obtained results 10: Communication with different field researchers: how to introduce different field speciality 11: Presentation 1: exhibition of graphs and extraction of necessary information 12: Presentation 2: preparation with emphasis on discussion 13: Preparation of manuscript 1: verification of story and citation of literatures 14: Preparation of manuscript 2: verification of logic of results and discussions 15: Conclusion, advice to apply to each research theme |
