Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Mathematical science is classified as "mathematics in the broad sense" and is a separate and is independent field from mathematics in the narrow sense (including pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and information and computer mathematics).

In the mathematical sciences, we write down the transitions of interesting things that we have selected as research subjects as dynamic mathematical models, and by analyzing them, we deepen our understanding of the original things, explain and comment on them, and interpret them.

A lot of different specialties have many different methods, and different perspectives.

I would like to aim for a lecture that can be understood from such a way of learning.

In my laboratory, among them, we advocate "Mathematical Science for Life", which is one of the fields. This includes

Mathematical Infectious Diseases,
Mathematical Immunology,
Mathematical Biological Signal Transduction.

We research and teach these as “mathematics in a broad sense” in the above sense.

Class Schedule Based on at least  15 times report from students, we'll discuss about the subject on the textbook.

Reporters will be required to deep understanding of contents of the textbook
Requirements Mathematical science (mathematics in the broad sense) is an independent field that differs from "mathematics in the narrow sense" (pure mathematics, applied mathematics, mathematics for information systems and computers), but liberal arts subjects such as linear algebra and calculus , Basic subjects are of common importance. Therefore, I would like you to understand the basics of mathematics up to the fourth year.
Grading Method I will give a credit by total comprehensiveness of the textbook.
