To overview the field from classics to cutting-edge researches, students read relevant papers or books, make a presentation at the seminar (including the background of the works), and discuss. Through the seminar, students should also learn how to find out references and update their knowledge. 
Class Schedule Lesson 1:
Introduction of the text or research field by the faculty.
Lessons 2-14:
Presentation and discussion by the students.

The presenter should not only read the text but also survey the background and related works.
Also, students other than the presenter should read the text and prepare for the discussion. 
Requirements The credits for this seminar cannot be counted for the completion of the program (either MLS or others), although valid for teacher's license (mathematics).
