The course focuses on the recent progresses of physiology and biochemistry.

Lesson 2-4. Fukazawa, J. Growth regulation mechanism via Plant Hormones
Lesson 5-7. Nobusawa, T. Biomembrane and lipid science.
Lesson 8-10. Kusaba, M. Mechanism of self-incompatibility
Lesson 11-13. Ueki, T. Molecular mechanisms of animal physiology.
An overview of metal metabolic pathways and regulatory mechanisms in animals, with a focus on iron and copper. Research methods related to metal metabolism, especially research on the accumulation and reduction mechanism of vanadium.
