Weekly: Provide step by step orientation and lectures to each student. Students will present review of literature, research plans, and their progress. Teachers and elder students will lead and modify the progress.
The joint seminar with Doctoral students will be held.

<Course description>
Students will learn to conduct research studies by her/his own through this course (Starting point). Students understand the research process/steps and acquire attitude of ethical consideration related to research.
<Objectives>
Throughout the course, students will be able to;
1. To resolve/improve clinical issues, explore research questions, collect and review literature, and critically analyze them.
2. Develop a research conceptual frameworks.
3. Select a right research method/research design.
4. Describe right samples/participants conditions (inclusion and exclusion criteria)
5. Think an appropriate approach method/intervention method.
6. Choose appropriate evaluation methods and indicators.
7. Appropriately consider ethical matters
8. Appropriately collect data and conduct analysis of data
9. Appropriately interpretate the data

Students can choose on their own interest in Adult Nursing area. However, students can choose a research project which Adult Nursing Faculty member have prepared.

Students proceed by themselves 
Requirements Thesis guidance will be provided once a week. (Guidance will also be provided via email and Skype.)
Also weekly, jointly with the doctoral students and master students, discussions will be held to provide novel/improved medical and nursing care.
For English-speaking students, instruction will be provided in English. For Japanese-speaking students, instruction will be provided in Japanese.
Distance students will participate via online (teams).
