<Course description>
This course will provide knowledge and skills conducting outcome management in order to improve clinical outcomes/indicators/care quality/outcomes. Thus the instructor will provide lectures and discussion and advice based on students' presentation/progress. The theme is not limited to outcome management. Students can choose their own theme and proceed the research steps.
<Objectives>
Upon completion of the course the students will be able to;
1. understand and acquire basic skills of conducting outcome research and outcome management. / research steps.
2. Master how to practice EBM/EBCP in order to actualize best practice in clinical areas.
3. Operate clinical data and statistics to conduct disease management and improve quality of care.
4. Obtain research methods related to the specified area.

Requirements For English-speaking students, classes will be provided in English. For Japanese-speaking students, class will be provided in Japanese at a separate time.
Distance students will participate via online (teams).

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it The instructor has a clinical nursing experience and was a Nursing Officer at MHLW. She conducted various kinds of outcome management research studies, research publications and books.
