This seminar is to discus about socio-economic problems of rural area in Hiroshima Prefecture from viewpoints of the SDGs for doctral cource stutents who have various nationalities and study various subjects. by the following steps. 1) Learn about "important facts" by UNDP. 2) Field survey in rural area of Hiroshima Prefecture from the socio-economic viewpoints. 3) Discus about socio-economic problems of rural area with workshops. 4) Make some proposals for rural communities and give presenteitions of them to poeple who live there. |

You will be given lectures by professors who have practical experiences at local government office or a federation of agricultural cooperatives in Japan, regarding as food, agriculture and rural policy based on the thought of SDGs. In addition to it, people who have practical experiences will give us lectures at all places we visit. |
