/Class Outline Learning Outcomes
By taking this course, students will acquire the followings.
1) Gain basic understanding of intercultural theories, such as intercultural communication, culture shock, reverse culture shock, cultural adjustment and readjustment.
2) Students enhance intercultural competence to be associated with Japanese society.
3) Through fieldwork with high school, local administration office, and local companies, students learn to connect theories and practices so that they could interact in Japanese society and also in culturally diverse environment.

Since students are working with local schools, local government, and local industry, understanding of courtesy in Japanese society and very serious attitudes towards the class is required.

Message 本授業では、地域学校・地域行政・地域企業を訪問したり、一緒にプロジェクトやディスカッションに取り組む機会を設けています。日本及び世界の様々な人々と実際に関わりつつ学ぶことを目指しています。
Students have opportunities to visit local school, and work with local government and local industry in Japan. Through practical experiences of project and discussios, students are expected to acquire intercultural competence to work with Japanese people and people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
**There is ONLINE Orientation for the course in September.
