Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Through the example of Aikido, students will learn about the comprehensive concept of Japanese Martial Arts (Budo), including breathing, basics of human movements, the concept of ki and the connection of self defense and budo. They will also experience how to educate their body and mind together through the movements of Aikido.

This class includes Aikido practice. Students should bring sports wear with long sleaves/ legs. No special wear required. The first class will be held on Wednesday, 10/9 in IAS K206. (No class will be held on Wednesday, 10/2.) |
