In recent years, "behavioral science" or "psychology" have come to be treated as independent medical education curricula in Japan. This is because behavioral science and psychology share a number of common elements, not only with regard to teaching medical students but also for caring for patients. In this lecture, we will learn about the clinical applications of psychology, such as the theory and techniques of behavior change, from the basis of behavior.
