Behavioral science is the interdiciplinal area based upon psychology, ranged from natural to social sciences. This lecture focuses on the topics about human behaviors of variety, complexity, and ambiguity. In addition, the latent factors of the behavior will be discussed.

Review
Lesson 1. Observe the behavior of the people around you, and consider why they did so, from the point of view “cause and result.”
Lesson 2. Why do you get sleepy in the class? Let’s think about the factors which will be related to sleepiness such as prior nocturnal sleep, having lunch, time of day, boredom during the class, and so on.
Lesson 3. Let’s think about why we have to sleep.
Lesson 4. Check your daily behavior according to your internal circadian clock system.
Lesson 5. Let's think about the problem of mental health caused by sleeplessness in adolescents.
Lesson 6. Let’s think about why intergroup conflict is caused and how intergroup cooperation is attained.
Lesson 7. Our behavior influences our society and is influenced by society at the same time. Let’s think about interaction between our behavior and society.
Lesson 8. Documents uploaded on the web system should be used for preparation and reviewing.
Lesson 9-10. Read suggested books to deepen your understanding of “psychopathy.”
Lesson 11. Think problems concerning to various behaviors of narcissistic people in Japanese society.
Lesson 12. Let's think about the mechanism of emotion and behavior.
Lesson 13. Students are expected to read and watch recommended materials including scientific articles and videos.
Lesson 14. Let’s think about how our visual perception of the world is constructed.
Lesson 15. Review what you learned in this class, and summarize causal factors underlining human behavior.  
Requirements  
Grading Method Worksheets duirng the class (20%) and final exam (80%).
