Cultural anthropology is an area of study that seeks to understand the diversity of people's cultures, values, and experiences. This course will expose students to contemporary issues, including sexuality and freedom, labor and poverty, and depression. By the end of this term, students should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of the basic concepts of cultural anthropology, such as marriage and kinship, gift and value, and nature and culture.
