In this course, we focus on higher education and discuss some topics (history of higher education, higher education system, quality assurance, the economic value of higher education, equal opportunity of higher education, entrance examination system, and curriculum of general education). Through pair work, group work, and classroom discussion, we learn the characteristics and problems of Japanese higher education. |
